Reversible checks first

01Unstable frame rate

Set a stable frame cap, then lower shadows and effects one step. Test the same busy scene after each change.

02Crash or failed launch

Restart first, verify Steam files, then test again without optional overlays. Install the current stable GPU driver only if the issue persists.

03Display or tearing issue

Return to the native resolution, confirm the display refresh rate, then test the in-game frame cap and sync options one at a time.

04Save or progress concern

Stop changing graphics settings and protect the save folder first. Use the save-file tool before reinstalling or clearing local data.
